About the Role

  • Apply project management and planning tools and techniques to ensure that the project finish date and milestones are successfully achieved.
 

What you will be doing

  • Analyze contractor schedules and evaluate claims, EOTs, and recovery programs.
  • Assist in the development and review of project control procedures and systems.
  • Attend progress meetings and provide expert planning input to project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure schedule compliance.
  • Ensure planning activities are compliant with contractual requirements and international best practices.
  • Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and flag delays or risks proactively. Recommend areas of improvement.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards.
  • Support the site supervision team in resolving planning and scheduling issues.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years overall experience in development or construction projects including multi-storey residential buildings having worked with engineering consultancy or construction industry in the Middle East and other locations.
 

Education

  • Minimum qualification of degree in an Engineering related field. A postgraduate degree of the same and/or registration as member from recognized professional body is an advantage. 
 

Certifications & Memberships

  • Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
  • Technical certifications is an advantage, including Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the KSEPMI Certifications (PMP, RMP, SP, etc.), LEED, Autodesk Certifications, Six Sigma and HSSE certifications.

Essential Skills

  • Software skills with microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc), Primavera and Microsoft Projects. 
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Compilation of various project reports as directed by management from time to time.
  • Client focussed, providing advice and services. 
  • Works well in a team with a collaborative approach. 
  • Detail minded, thorough and systematic in their approach to work.
