About the Role

  • Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions, site works and guidance for an effective implementation.

What you will be doing

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and project progress.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems into the project.
  • Conduct inspections to verify adherence to local building codes.
  • Identify and resolve electrical system defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of electrical components.
  • Provide technical guidance on electrical designs and site challenges.
  • Prepare reports on electrical system performance and compliance.
  • Review and approve electrical materials and equipment for site installation.
  • Verify that electrical systems meet operational and safety requirements.
  • Supervise system testing, grounding, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.

Required Experience

  • Over 10 years experience in electrical projects construction supervision, management and execution.
  • Experience of having worked with reputable consultant engineering firms.
  • Knowledge of MEW & KFD (Kuwait) regulations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Certifications & Memberships

  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).
