About the Role

  • Pace is looking for a professional capable of providing accurate and efficient modelling of PH & FP services in accordance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plan, company policies, systems and procedures and to assist Public Health Modeller in design and coordination issues. The Pace Senior Public Health Modeller will be instrumental in the modelling of PH & FP systems as per project requirements, considering health and safety regulations. The incumbent will handle modelling for multiple PH & FP projects simultaneously working closely with Pace engineers. This Senior Public Health Modeller will be required to have full knowledge of Pace BIM Execution Plan, company policies and be capable to assist PH modeller in design and coordination issues.

What you will be doing

  • Assists Public Health Modelers with design and software related and coordination issues.
  • Communicate with discipline's Digital Coordinator to avoid potential conflicts in design against other discipline's.
  • Ensure MEP, PH & FF discipline design model(s) content is compliant with the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Ensure coordination with discipline's latest approved design models (as provided through (CDE/EDMS).
  • Ensure at each project stage, the discipline's design model(s) content is developed to the agreed LOD.
  • Ensure effective use of computer programs to develop relatively error free presentation drawings.
  • Ensure that the drawings are clear (properly dimensioned, all notes included, legends, north points, all information reflected).
  • Ensure the discipline team is designing within the space allocation provided, therefore avoiding clashes with other disciplines.
  • Extract drawings and schedules in preparation for issue to the Client.
  • Ensure to meet agreed deadline and task benchmarks established by team members.
  • Protect the confidentiality of all designs within the section at all time.
  • Ensure all drawings are compliant with the standards outlined in this BIM Execution Plan.

Required Experience

  • 10 Years plus experience in modelling of Fire Protection and Public Health system.
  • Working Knowledge of Fire Protection and Public Health system.
  • Hand's on experience on BIM software (Revit Model, Navisworks).
  • Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously in a similar environment. 
  • Possess regional experience in modelling of Public Health and Fire Protection system.
  • Previous experience shall include modelling of Public Health and Fire Protection system for Mega Projects of different categories such as Mixed Use Development, Educational buildings, Health Care, Hotel, Sport Facilities, Neighborhoods, High Rise buildings, etc.
  • Working Knowledge on Revit & Cad standard and procedures with good command on Revit & Cad Software.
  • Up to date with all advancements in Revit & Cad software/systems.

Education

  • Diploma in Mechanical Drafting.

Certifications & Memberships

  • Autodesk Certificate in Revit or similar.
  • Certification in Revit & Cad Drafting/Management
