About the Role

Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions, site works and guidance for an effective implementation.

What you will be doing

Check and report on quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Complete all required project closeout tasks within the required time frame.
Highlight and address problems and issues that arise during construction.
Inspect and manage day to day site activities.
Maintains contract files in a thorough and organized manner.
Make full inspection for all construction items according to specification.
Manage and coordinate the submitted technical requests.
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Perform off site inspection for related factories and supplier manufacturer.
Present review comments to senior for further evaluation.
Provide technical support to Site Inspection teams for operations and materials review and verify submittals / transmittals against contract requirements and project specifications
Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction.
Review and report on contractor's proposed progress schedule; monitor the contractor’s conformance to the schedule compared to the actual progress on site.

Required Experience

At least 12 years Experience having worked with reputable Engineering Firms preferably consulting firms.
Knowledge of related latest software.
Knowledge of International Standards and Codes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Certifications & Memberships

Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) Membership or Any local Engineer's society membership (for hiring outside Kuwait).

Essential Skills

Successful history in supervising site works and effective execution.
Previous experience in assisting Client and project coordination.
Experience in managing teams of divers backgrounds and disciplines.
Proven history of providing solutions to resolve design issues.
Experience in providing management update and reports.
