About the Role

Pace is looking for highly qualified candidates in different fields with various levels of experience that can work in a multidisciplinary work environment. We seek candidates who prioritise innovation, uphold design excellence, and are committed to ensuring client satisfaction. We have opportunity for senior creative design professionals for the following:

Senior Interior Design with an Hospitality focus.
Proven experience in luxury hotels and branded residences. Has the ability to lead the creative direction and design teams alongside major hotel brands.
Senior Landscape Design for Urban and Resort projects.
Proven experience in large scale masterplans, resort developments and urban designs for sustainable environments for the future.
Senior Design Architects in high-end Mixed-use projects.
Proven experience in producing high quality conceptual designs across a range of projects, converting ideas into designs.

What you will be doing:

Lead the conceptual design phase.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Present design concepts and narratives to clients and stakeholders with clarity and passion.
Lead, motivate and develop junior designers and ensure the creative vision is upheld through the design development phase.
Stay ahead of global design trends and innovations in the field.
Contribute to business development by supporting design pitches and client presentations.

Required Experience

Over 10 years of professional experience in design focussed companies.
Exceptional portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation and context driven design.
Have led design teams / studios on successful projects.

Education

Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or Landscape Architecture, ideally with Masters.

Certifications & Memberships

Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
International Accreditation (RIBA, AIA or equivalent).
Sustainability certification (LEED or equivalent) is an advantage.

Essential Skills

Excellent communication at all levels.
Works well with and across teams.
Advanced presentation style.
Ability to inspire and develop junior designers through the design development process.
Proficiency in software: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/ InDesign), Lumion and similar.
Excel in visual presentations for ideas (Hand sketches, mood boards and 3D visualisations).
Can grow high levels of client engagement.
Looks ahead for trend forecasting and design thinking.
Possesses cross cultural design sensitivity.
Adept with storytelling and translating into spatial experiences.
