About the Role
- The role of Landscape Architect requires a professional with 3+ years experience who will lead projects and is responsible for the delivery of the client’s requirements through all work stages. The Landscape Architect will proactively input to and communicate with all multidisciplinary teams, partners, stakeholders and clients.
What you will be doing
- Attend meetings and project reviews of internal and external multidisciplinary teams,ensuring the deliverables meet the Client’s requirements, Pace corporate standards and industry best practice standards.
- Collaborate and communicate clearly and concisely with the colleagues, Clients, contractors and stakeholders supporting the resoluton of critical and sometimes conflicting issues or requirements.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of innovative design solutions and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the preparation of bids and coordinate with the graphics, marketing, comms and proposals teams including the pipeline review of new project opportunities.
- Coordinate with and manage the work of the multi-disciplinary teams including external and specialist consultants and partners.
- Ensure design brief compliance, completeness and accuracy of all deliverables prior to issue.
- Participate in Weekly BIM and QA-QC processes.
- Participate in implementation of the corporate Pace3 programmes', including: Design Manual (BIM delivery), Cost Capture (VO’s), Design Review (design quality) and Safety in Design (safety integrated into our designs).
- Participate weekly project design and coordination meetings ensuring the agenda, minutes and actions are recorded and implemented.

- Proactively support innovative design solutions and processes through research, analysis and development in collaboration with the wider business.
- Setting of personal KPI’s.
- Support effective communations with site supervision teams on coordination of RFI’s, shop drawings, specifications, site safey visits, quality control mock-ups and samples to ensure the site installed systems as per Pace design intent.
- Support quality standards through the Pace QM QA-QC processes in the production of BIM models.
- Support the value engineering of technical and value+ solutions.
- Take responsibility for own duties and tasks and for projects under your leadership.
Required Experience
- Project experience in multidisciplinary teams aligned to Pace sectors and services.
- Experience of working in the Middle East an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Middle East building codes is required.
- Working knowledge of safety best practice.
- Proven track record in Architectural Landscape design and presentation skills required.
- Experience of master planning and urban design projects an advantage.
- Good understanding of space planning, functional adjacencies and constructability.
- Experience and knowledge of sustainable design principles.
- Competent leadership, design and technical experience.
Education
- B.A. or B SC in Landscape Architecture
- Masters or Landscape Architecture (MLA) or Master of Science in Landscape Architecture (MSLA) is preferred.
Certifications & Memberships
- Professionally registered as Landscape Architect for 3+ years with an internationally recognised authority, CMLI for Landscape Architects, Landscape Institute for Landscape Architects.
- Sustainability certification (LEED or equivalent) an advantage.
Essential Skills
- Advanced knowedge of BIM Revit and Navisworks, using full multidiciplinary processes.
- Use of Rhinoceros 3D modelling.
- Confident and presentable hand sketching and drawing skills an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of presentation softwares and Excel.
- Delivery focused with attention to detail.
- Demonstrates real-world problem solving skills with innovative and lateral thinking.
- Ability to self-start without micro management or excessive support from others.
- Demonstrates a flexible, positive, collaborative and inclusive approach to relationships – a team player.
- Experience of Fire & Life Safety (FLS) principles.
- Excellent command of English written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages an advantage.
- Excellent time management skills.
