About the Role

  • The Quality Assurance Manager leads the quality practices across the organisation and is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), while fostering a culture of excellence across regional offices. The role manages the Document Control function and team, ensuring robust documentation practices that support compliance, traceability, and operational efficiency.

What you will be doing

  • Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all teams and offices.
  • Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
  • Design and deliver quality training programs and induction sessions for staff across all levels.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders to resolve QA/QC issues and maintain certifications.
  • Ensure ongoing professional development in quality practices and standards.
  • Develop and manage QMS frameworks tailored to AEC operations, ensuring alignment with international standards and regional regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain manuals, guidelines, and procedures that support quality and compliance.
  • Lead quality planning, implementation, and auditing across all project phases and disciplines.
  • Oversee the Document Control team, ensuring effective management of quality documentation, version control, and traceability.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to Departments and project teams on quality methodologies and compliance.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management. •

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality management.

  • Experience in auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Sector-specific experience in AEC is an advantage.

  • Proven experience working to international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

  • Strong understanding and experience of regional regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.

  • Demonstrated success in managing document control functions and teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or Quality Management. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

  • Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE)
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) – by ASQ
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
