About the Role
- Business Development will assist activities at bidding process related to client networking, project initiation, short listing/prequalification, project positioning, proposal review, and client communication during bidding process.
- Gather market data, analyze data, update BD tracker/CRM, prepare prequal document, and expression of interest, etc.
What you will be doing
- Assist in ensuring the full implementation of Pace health and safety policies and procedures within Pace and within and across Pace projects.
- Assist in live bidding cycle, and communicate with authorities to assure healthy bidding process, client requirements & bidding instructions.
- Assist in positioning Pace well for new opportunities.
- Attend clients meetings, take meeting notes and assist in optimizing client satisfaction.
- Assist in supporting BD yearly action plan.
- Communicating with people with ethical and positive behavior at all levels to ensure internal and external personal interaction satisfaction.
- Create prequal / documentation prepared in collaboration with department personal.
- Create prequal documents, expression of interest document and respond to client queries.
- Develop and update contact lists with all current and future clients and provide comments to BD team.
- Establish Team Work collaborative approach for a given BD process.
- Establish good relationships with clients for live and existing projects.
- Facilitate and build relationships with governmental authorities/private sector clients to enhance over all business development efforts, ensure that BD manager and associate director of business development is apprised as part of weekly review.
- Follow and implement CRM system implementation and provide needed reports. Prepare reports and review BD tracker for relevant meetings.
- Gather market data, analyze data, update BD tracker/CRM, prepare prequal document, and expression of interest, etc.
- Gather market studies/data for business development studies.
- Gather market technical data (drawings, reports, etc) with operations assistant for proposals under preparation to submit a customized proposal toward increasing win rate. Provide insight for developing successful bidding strategy.
- Implement business development strategic plan in accordance with PACE’s approved long-term strategy.
- Manage public relations and client interface to promote a positive corporate image among the existing firms and potential clients/ markets.

- Manages and build relation with client management staff to enhance over all business development efforts, ensure that associate director for BD is apprised as part of daily activities.
- Meet clients, and governmental bodies to improve communication and relationship continuity.
- Optimize the Pace brand, secure competitive advantage toward supporting the highest levels of client satisfaction during project stages and after project completion.
- Prepare BD annual reports, update BD tracker, coordinate for BD meetings, follow up client meetings and prepare needed meeting requirements.
- Read market data via multiple channels, review, and communicate with BD team. Establish meetings plan with needed presentation or handout materials.
- Search of business development opportunities for PACE through liaising with a personal and professional network of contacts.
- Understand market pipeline projects via different market materials (news paper, gazette, government reports, etc).
- Asist in establishing new business know-how within a competitive business environment.
Required Experience
- Assists in supporting BD yearly action plan.

Education
- Engineering or Architecture background.
Certifications & Memberships
- Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
- Certification from Saudi Society of Engineers or local equivalent based on country requirement.
