About the Role

  • Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions, site works and guidance for an effective implementation.

What you will be doing

  • Check and report on quality control and health and safety matters on site.
  • Complete all required project closeout tasks within the required time frame.
  • Highlight and address problems and issues that arise during construction.
  • Make full inspection for all construction items according to specification.
  • Maintains contract files in a thorough and organized manner.
  • Inspect and manage day to day site activities.
  • Manage and coordinate the submitted technical requests.
  • Perform off site inspection for related factories and supplier manufacturer.
  • Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
  • Present review comments to senior for further evaluation.
  • Provide technical support to Site Inspection teams for operations and materials review and verify submittals / transmittals against contract requirements and project specifications
  • Review and report on contractor's proposed progress schedule; monitor the contractor’s conformance to the schedule compared to the actual progress on site.
  • Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction.

Required Experience

  • At least 12 years Experience having worked with reputable Engineering Firms preferably consulting firms.
  • Knowledge of related latest software.
  • Knowledge of International Standards and Codes.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Certifications & Memberships

  • Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).

Essential Skills

  • Successful history in supervising site works and effective execution.
  • Previous experience in assisting Client and project coordination.
  • Experience in managing teams of divers backgrounds and disciplines. . 
  • Proven history of providing solutions to resolve design issues.
  • Experience in providing management update and reports.
