About the Role
Electrical Engineer ensures the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and control systems.
Oversee compliance with local building codes, conduct inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
What you will be doing
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems into the project.
Conduct inspections to verify adherence to local building codes.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of electrical components.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and project progress.
Identify and resolve electrical system defects and recommend corrective actions.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
Prepare reports on electrical system performance and compliance.
Provide technical guidance on electrical designs and site challenges.
Review and approve electrical materials and equipment for site installation.
Supervise system testing, grounding, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.
Verify that electrical systems meet operational and safety requirements.
Required Experience
5 to 7 experience in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and electrical design.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Certifications & Memberships
Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).
Essential Skills
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and document findings effectively.
Clear and effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.
Understanding of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and control systems.
Identifying potential hazards and ensuring safety compliance.
Ability to handle unexpected challenges in site supervision.
