About the Role

  • Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions and site works. Also, provide accurate surveys as required including topographic surveys, setting out and services location.

What you will be doing

  • Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
  • Collaborate and work with project managers, construction crews, and government agencies, when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure survey objectives are met.
  • Create maps, diagrams, and reports detailing survey results.
  • Ensure all survey activities comply with regulations and codes.
  • Marking and delineating boundaries and reference points on a property or section of land.
  • Perform mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements.
  • Present data to clients and preparing reports detailing legal boundaries and other relevant information.
  • Research and consult historical maps and surveys, as well as legal documents, relating to the property or section of land to be measured.
  • Stay updated with new surveying technology and industry developments.
  • Take measurements of distances and angles on a property or section of land in order to establish legal boundaries.
  • Travel to sites as required.
  • Use specialized equipment, including distance measuring wheels, GPS and geographic information system (GIS) devices to measure boundaries and contours.

Required Experience

  • Over 7 years or as required by related supervision agreement.
  • Experience working for an Engineering Consultancy. 

Education

  • Diploma in surveying, geomatics, geospatial sciences, geophysics, or a related field.
 

Certifications & Memberships

  • Certification from Saudi Society of Engineers or local equivalent based on country requirement.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to organise and plan work. 
  • Collaborates, works well in a site team. 
  • Can oversee and supervise work. 
  • Can use software to provide updates and reports.
  • Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
  • Clear communication skills in speaking and writing. 
  • Detail minded, works in a thorough systematic way.
