About the Role
- Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions, site works and guidance for an effective implementation. Responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables on all phases of construction supervision. To ensure that designs enhance and support the functional, safety and aesthetics of the building with adherence to deadlines, budgets, quality requirements and contract obligations in order to fulfill client requirements.
What you will be doing
- Attend and/or chair the discipline related technical, operational and supply chain meetings as appropriate.
- Coordinate the communications with the Corporate CoE Department regarding technical issues and queries.
- Manage to guide and coordinate the submitted site methodology and inspection document reviews (MS, ITP, RA, IR, MIR, SAT, etc.), including review of the comments presented by the discipline team members.
- Manage to guide and coordinate the submitted supply chain document reviews (PQ, MAS, FAT), including review of the comments presented by the discipline team members.
- Manage to guide and coordinate the submitted technical document reviews (shop and as-built), including review of the comments presented by the discipline team members.
- Prepare operational related correspondence for RE / PD review.
- Prepare technical and supply chain related correspondence for RE review.
- Present review comments to RE / PD for further evaluation and endorsement to present back to the Contractor.
- Provide technical support to the related discipline Site Inspection Teams for operations and materials.
- Receive site methodology, inspection and supply chain documents (from routing) and distribute as appropriate amongst the Discipline Team members.

- Review and verify Submittals / Transmittals against contract requirements and project specifications.

Required Experience
- Over 15 years in design / site supervision or as required by related supervision agreement.
- Experience having worked with reputable Engineering firms preferably Consulting firms.
- Working knowledge of International Standards and Codes.
- Working knowledge of national/local ministerial regulations and standards.
- Excellent experience using with Revit / AutoCAD / Sketch-up / Photoshop software.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design in interior design, architecture or equivalent.
Certifications & Memberships
- Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).
Essential Skills
- Ability to lead technical discipline on site.
- Communicates effectively at all levels.
- BIM / CAD skills should be of a high standard.
- Expertise in design in architecture and / or interior design.
- Excellent understanding of all technical aspects, code requirements, high familiarity with specifications is required.
- Supervise site works and effective execution.
- Effective coordination skills and team player.
- Client relationship skills to liase with Client providing solutions to resolve design issues.
- PC skills in providing management updates and reports.
- Attention to details and thorough, systematic approach to work.
- Works effectively to time deadlines and quality standards.
