About the Role
The MEP Manager will lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, ELV and Plumbing (MEP) aspects on site for a large-scale, high-profile mixed-use development in KSA. Acting as the MEP lead within the supervision consultancy team, the role will involve overseeing the Contractor’s activities, ensuring compliance with project contract documents, codes, and quality standards, while aligning with client objectives. The MEP Manager will report directly to the Project Director and collaborate closely with other discipline leads and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
What you will be doing
Required Experience
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a similar MEP leadership role on large-scale mixed-use or high-rise developments.
Proven experience working with international consultancy firms on major projects in the GCC/KSA region.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
Certifications & Memberships
Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
Certification from Saudi Society of Engineers or local equivalent based on country requirement.
Project management qualifications is an advantage.
Essential Skills
Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
Familiarity with KSA regulations, international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc.), and project delivery within a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience in complex MEP systems integration across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail sectors.
Excellent coordination, leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MEP design/review tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360).
Fluency in English required. Arabic language skills are a plus.
