About the Role

Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions, site works and effective implementation. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in construction projects. Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

What you will be doing

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with mechanical specifications and standards.
Monitor the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation of findings for project stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams as needed.
Review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to verify accuracy and completeness.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering practices.
Supervise and manage the processes related to the site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions, site works and effective implementation.

Required Experience

7 years experience working on projects.
Experience having worked with reputable Consultant Engineering Firms needed.
Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements.

Education

Bachelor degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Certifications & Memberships

Certification from Saudi Society of Engineers or local equivalent based on country requirement.

Essential Skills

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical system design.
Ability to assess site conditions and optimize mechanical installations.
Clear and effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.
Ability to handle unexpected challenges in site supervision.
Clear communication both in verbal and written form.
Works well in team environment, collaborative approach.
High attention to detail, works in a thorough, systematic way.
Solution minded to overcome issues and meet quality and project time targets.
