About the Role

Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in construction projects.
Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

What you will be doing

Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems into the project.
Conduct inspections to verify adherence to local building codes.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure efficiency and safety
Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of mechanical components.
Identify and resolve mechanical system defects and recommend corrective actions.
Review and approve mechanical materials and equipment for site installation.
Provide technical guidance on mechanical designs and site challenges.
Identifying potential hazards and ensuring safety compliance.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
Supervise system testing, balancing, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.
Verify that mechanical systems meet operational and environmental requirements.

Required Experience

5 to 7 experience in mechanical engineering.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Certifications & Memberships

ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification
Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).

Essential Skills

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical system design
Ability to assess site conditions and optimize mechanical installations.
Clear and effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.
Ability to handle unexpected challenges in site supervision.
Clear communication both in verbal and written form.
Works well in team environment, collaborative approach.
High attention to detail, works in a thorough, systematic way.
Solution minded to overcome issues and meet quality and project time targets.
