About the Role

  • Technical lead for preparation of Cost Plans, Tender Documents, Tender Evaluations and Contract Documents.

What you will be doing

  • Handle all payments for subcontractors and suppliers under accurately following up.
  • Maintain hard copy and organized electronic filing system (soft copies for payments) to keep the smooth running of the work and ensure that work runs effectively.
  • Manage the work of accounting and auditing for all payments due to Local authorities, ministries and other parties involved.
  • Preparing the contractor’s final payment certificate.
  • Preparing the final payment for the supervision agreement.
  • Responding to client correspondence on all financial matters.
  • Settling outstanding payments for subcontractors by deducting amounts from the contractor’s payment.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying with emphasis on pre-contract services.
  • Extensive experience in commercial, retail, residential and mixed use projects essential.
  • Experience of providing pre-contract QS services in the KSA or Kuwait market preferred. 

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering.

Certifications & Memberships

  • Certification from Saudi Society of Engineers or local equivalent based on country requirement.
  • Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Package including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Can use internet and email effectively.
