About the Role

Apply project management and planning tools and techniques to ensure that the project finish date and milestones are successfully achieved.

What you will be doing

Review and action the construction schedules and recommend areas for improvements.
Analyze and approve extension of time and claims.
Ensure that long lead materials are submitted, procured and delivered on time.
Actively highlight any potential delays.
Communicate with all trades and provide efficient feedback.
Monitor the site and engineering activities based on the approved construction schedule.
Initiate and reply to formal letters.
Develop presentations and reports.
Examine the recovery plans.

Required Experience

Over 10 years experience or as required by related construction supervision agreement.
Experience having worked with reputable engineering firms, preferably consulting firms within the industry.
Knowledge and practical experience of working with Primavera.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Certifications & Memberships

Additional training courses, professional and personal development with membership to professional groups, societies or institutes, desired.
Technical certifications is an advantage, including Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the KSEPMI Certifications (PMP, RMP, SP, etc.), LEED, Autodesk Certifications, Six Sigma and HSSE certifications.

Essential Skills

Software skills with microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc), Primavera and Microsoft Projects.
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
Compilation of various project reports as directed by management from time to time.
Client focussed, providing advice and services.
Works well in a team with a collaborative approach.
Detail minded, thorough and systematic in their approach to work.
